Why Ahana?
The name was chosen with profound deliberateness. Ahana (ಅಹಣ) in Kannada means the fact of coming into existence — a word that captures everything this organisation stands for.
When a person accesses the right care, something transforms. They step out of pain, out of isolation, out of the shadows of unmet need — and into themselves. That emergence is Ahana.
And "Her" makes it personal. This is not healthcare in the abstract — it is care built around the human at its centre, by people who understand.
